Mahindra Lifespace comes to Chembur
We want to begin today's edition by apologizing for two reasons:
1) We made a mistake in the last edition. We misspelled a name; the correct name is Dalijeet.

2) The 'Story of a Neighbour' section is not in today's edition as we're waiting for final approval from the person featured. We can guarantee it's a story worth the wait

MPCB Deploys VOC Tracking Machines at RCF Plant After Public Complaints, Coinciding with High Court's Cognizance
In response to public complaints of a gas leak at the Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers (RCF) plant in Chembur, the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) deployed VOC tracking machines on September 8, 2025. The deployment was prompted by residents reporting a pungent odor and health issues. The following day, on September 9, 2025, the Bombay High Court took suo motu cognizance of the gas leak incidents, including the one at the RCF plant, based on news reports. The court's action and the MPCB's machine deployment were triggered by the same initial event, with the MPCB's action occurring first.
