Metro Line 2B is expected to be operational soon, connecting Chembur to Mandale. Right now, it’s just a short stretch.
But this isn’t the full picture.
This line is part of a larger corridor that will eventually connect Chembur to DN Nagar via Mandale, opening up direct access to Western Mumbai. On the other end, it extends towards Bandra Kurla Complex, where it will connect with Mumbai Metro Aqua Line, providing access towards South Mumbai.
What may feel limited today is actually a piece of a much larger system being built.
Once complete, this won’t be just another route. It becomes a direct, predictable connector between Chembur and some of Mumbai’s busiest business and residential hubs, reducing dependence on road travel.
Short today, but impactful in how Chembur connects tomorrow.
